Multi-System Retail Deployment

An operating retail location required a complete technology infrastructure upgrade without disrupting day-to-day store operations. The existing cabling and network systems were replaced and modernized to support current retail requirements, including point-of-sale systems, wireless connectivity, security, video surveillance, access control, audio, and in-store analytics.

Technopolis upgraded the store's low-voltage and network infrastructure with new Cat6A structured cabling, fiber connectivity, network rack equipment, dedicated POS cabling, data drops, Wi-Fi access points, CCTV, access control and security infrastructure, distributed audio, and retail analytics cameras. The deployment also included dedicated connectivity for shopper-tracking technology used to analyze customer traffic and movement throughout the store.

The retail technology upgrade was completed in approximately one week and included 6 POS stations, 24+ network data drops, approximately 5–8 wireless access points, 10–12 surveillance cameras, 2 dedicated shopper analytics cameras, approximately 10 distributed audio speakers, and integrated access-control infrastructure. The completed system provided the store with a modern and scalable technology platform for sales operations, connectivity, security, customer analytics, and future expansion.
