Residential Technology Integration

A two-story, approximately 5,000 sq. ft. existing residence was undergoing a major renovation and required a complete technology modernization. The homeowner wanted to replace separate standalone systems with one integrated smart-home infrastructure capable of controlling lighting, climate, shades, entertainment, security, communications, and critical home systems from a unified platform.

Technopolis designed and deployed a complete residential technology infrastructure including structured cabling, fiber connectivity, whole-home Wi-Fi, centralized network equipment and rack infrastructure, smart lighting, motorized shade control, HVAC and climate integration, distributed audio and multimedia, CCTV, security and burglar-alarm integration, access control, intercom, leak detection, and whole-home automation scenes. The system served as one of the primary automation platforms, integrating multiple subsystems into a unified control environment.

The completed system transformed the approximately 5,000 sq. ft., two-story residence into a fully integrated smart home. The deployment included approximately 50+ low-voltage and network connections, whole-home Wi-Fi coverage, 8–10 surveillance cameras, multiple HVAC climate zones, distributed audio across the main living spaces, automated lighting and shade control, integrated security and entry systems, leak detection, and centralized automation scenes for everyday living, entertaining, away mode, and nighttime operation. The result was a single scalable technology platform replacing multiple independent home systems.
